Team Health is one of the largest providers of hospital-based clinical services in the United States. Team Health also offers innovative teleradiology services, hospitalist programs, and occupational health services.

Team Health, originally called Southeastern Emergency Physicians (SEP), was founded in 1979 by emergency physicians. After 15 years of growth in regional ED services, the group adopted the name Team Health, entered the radiology market and began a period of national expansion in 1994.
